Overview

TurbineSentinel is a comprehensive solution for the protection and control of gas turbines, which combines specific strategies for safety, monitoring, sequencing and control, with machine integration requirements, production strategies, facilities monitoring, information supervision and centralization.

TurbineSentinel consists of fuel gas control algorithms, over-speed protection (“Over speed trip”), start and stop sequence, and machine condition monitoring (vibration and temperature).

The TurbineSentinel solution is based on current API, ANSI/ISA, and IEC standards, as well as the requirements of equipment manufacturers’ safety standards. In addition, Turbine Sentinel runs on commercial programmable logic controllers (PLCs) platforms for control and sequencing, and TÜV-certified programmable electronic systems (PES or safety PLCs) that comply with IEC-61508 for process safety. The system architecture can be adjusted to meet the required Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and availability of your process.
