Boiler & Furnace Sentinel

MCL Control has developed Boiler Sentinel and Furnace Sentinel, comprehensive integral solutions targeted to satisfy the protection and control requirements of boilers and furnaces, being them thermally integrated or not.
Both encompass what is commonly known as Burner Management System (BMS), which includes the sequence for the safe startup and shutdown as well as mergency shutdown for boilers and furnaces; in addition, both products also address the need of continuous control, monitoring, and thermal integration by means of optimal load distribution algorithms in the case of steam networks, as well as the automation of water treatment plants in the case of the boilers.
The global concept of both products offers answers that reach all production related areas (operation, maintenance, supervision, management, administration, etc.). Based on current API, IEC, NFPA, and also equipment manufacturers’ safety standards requirements, both products comply with the concept of having Safety and Control separated in independent Modules as described below.
Furthermore, both products are bases upon commercial Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) platforms for both control and sequencing, and upon IEC-61508 compliant TÜV certified Programmable Electronic System (PES or Safety PLC) for process safety.
The architecture of a system bases in any of the products can be adjusted to comply with the required Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and availability for your process. Both products also offer the flexibility of combining both control and protection of the equipment in the same controller (PLC) when allowed by applicable regulations and standards.

Compressor Sentinel

MCL Control has developed a solution for the protection and control of centrifugal and axial compressor either alone or in networks, combining specific needs of safety, high speed control strategies, and sequencing of each compression train with the global requirements of machines integration, production strategies, monitoring facilities, information supervision, and centralization.
As a result, MCL Control provides a smart flexible solution at a very competitive cost that decreases when the same architecture is extended to the rest of associated production processes. For this reason, the global concept of the Compressor Sentinel offers answers that reach all the areas related with production (operation, maintenance, supervision, management, administration, etc.).
Based on current ISA/ANSI and IEC safety standards requirements, Compressor Sentinel complies with the separation concept of having Safety and Control independent modules as described below. Furthermore, the Compressor Sentinel is based upon Compressor Controls Corporation’s (CCC) series 3 & 5 platform for both, control and sequencing, and upon IEC-61508 compliant TÜV certified Programmable Electronic Systems (PES or Safety PLCs) for the process safety.
The Compressor Sentinel architecture can be adjusted for compliance with the required Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and availability for your process.

Fire & Gas Sentinel

MCL Control has developed its own product, F&G Sentinel, in recognition of the need for a comprehensive integral solution to satisfy the fire and combustible or toxic gas detection and protection requirements in industrial facilities, combining specific needs, ranging from hazard detection to its mitigation, with the global requirements of information supervision and centralization.
As a result, MCL Control provides a smart flexible solution at a very competitive cost that decreases when the same architecture is extended to other process safety functions.
The global concept of F&G Sentinel offers answers that reach all production related areas (operation, maintenance, supervision, management, administration, etc.), and covers from the design of the system to its implementation, always in compliance with the most rigorous current international standards like API, ISA, IEC, NFPA, OSHA, as well as those from industry organizations such as ASM Consortium@ and EEMUA.
Furthermore, F&G Sentinel is based upon commercial Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) platforms, and upon IEC-61508 compliant TÜV certified Programmable Electronic Systems (PES or Safety PLC) for process safety.

TG Sentinel

MCL Control has developed TG Sentinel, a comprehensive integral solution targeted to satisfy the protection and control requirements of gas turbine driven turbo-generators, which combines specific safety, monitoring, sequencing, of the turbine, high speed control strategies, and automatic synchronizations, with machines integrations, production strategies, facilities monitoring, information supervision and centralization requirements.
The global concept of TG Sentinel offers answers that reach all productions related areas (operation, maintenance, supervision, management, administration, etc.). Based on current API, ISA/ANSI, and IEC safety standards requirements, TG Sentinel complies with the concept of having Safety and Control separated in independent Modules as described below.
